Hello world! I have fallen victim to the power of the blog! One of my closest friends, Cassidy, has had a blog for a little while now, and I am addicted to reading it. Another friend of mine started one yesterday. I've never been one to cave with peer-pressure, but alas, I created one, too.
Please excuse any grammatical errors on any of my posts. I'm sure I will make them; trust me, they are going to bother me more than they will bother you!
I am excited about creating a blog simply because my husband and I are expecting a child, and this will be a terrific way to document the months leading up to his/her arrival and the adventures that will happen once s/he gets here.
Let me begin by telling a little about myself to set the background for what is to come in this blog. I am a child of God. I'm a wife to Austin, one of the two most amazing men on Earth - my dad is the other. I am also a daughter of two incredible people who have taught me how to be a decent human being, and I hope that I can be the kind of parent to my child that they are to me. I am a sister to my best friend, Meg. She is my favorite person alive! Finally,I am a kindergarten teacher. I truly believe I have the greatest job in the world (other than being a mom of course).
Every day is a little bit of an adventure in our household. In the words of Jon and Kate, "It might be a crazy life, but it's our life." I'm very glad that you have chosen to read about our adventures!
Congrats on all you are and all you do. I am so glad you started this blog. You are a great writer - you must have had a great middle school English teacher!! Don't worry; I won't be checking for errors in your blog. I am going to enjoy reading your little stories.
