In an effort to be a better blog writer, I made a mid-year resolution to write more often. The posts may not be news worthy, but they will be our adventures. :)
Sunday afternoon was our first outing of the week. We woke up early around 5:15 and Catherine and I played, but we fell back asleep and over slept for church. That afternoon though we went to the Chattanooga Market with some sweet friends to taste ice cream. Catherine enjoyed bonding time with her favorite male babysitter, and I enjoyed getting to spend time with my friend and her precious family. :)
Monday I asked my mom if she would keep Catherine for a couple of hours while I got some stuff done around the house. This was a big step for me as I have incredible separation anxiety and can't stand to be in a different room than Catherine. I have to start doing this more often though because she is going to stay with Mimi when I have to go back to work.
She hadn't napped very well, and she didn't nap the whole time she was there. We really have to get some sort of routine with her naps or we are all going to go nuts. She did entertain her Mimi though. Mom said she rolled over, sat up, and learned the importance of having a cheerleader. (If you know my mom, I'm sure she cheered her on after every breath she took. ;). )
I am glad that she enjoyed her afternoon with Mimi. There is something unbelievably magical about being with my mama and my daughter. I'm glad I get to experience the special bond that we have.
I really enjoy being with my dad and son too. Funny.
